Quagmire.........A word that has been used ad nauseum in the MSM lately. It is calculated attempt to conjure the ghosts of American failure, namely that last bastion of Liberal triumph, Vietnam. We have seen the rise in its use to define American presence in Iraq, the turning point in what the left describes as "The unwanted and unjust war of GWB." (For oil) What exactly is a quagmire? What if the American dead were say......Ten times that amount?
What if 21,900 Americans had been killed since September 11, 2001? Would there be huge demonstrations, calls for impeachment, and criminal investigations? According to THIS article that is precisely what has happened.
Where is the righteous indignation and moral outrage? This army has invaded our homeland and no one in Government gives a damn. 45,000 potential terrorist released here and we still have open borders and no solution. Our representatives argue over semantics and refuse to address any real issues like Crime.
Quagmire indeed......When will talk about withdrawal of the 12,000,000 Mexican army that occupies the United States?
