I am very disappointed that Jack Murtha got wacked today. I wanted him up in the front row with Harry, Nancy, and Carl. The circumvention of Pelosi means they ain't as stoopid as I hoped. We need the democrats like Harry Reid to be in the limelights saying stuff like this. I want all the John Kerryesque buffonery to keep on coming. If the hatchet falls on Dean in the next few weeks it means they might really want to retain power this time.
What amazes me is all the astonished Republicans that can't figure out why they did not hear the screaming from the silent majority. Immigration, out of control spending, and ridiculous free trade policies did more damage than the war in Iraq. The Republicans had the opportunity to lay waste to the Democrats once and for all and they squandered it like trailer trash with lotto winnings.
Our only hope is a return to conservative values and the self-destruction of the arrogant, myopic liberals. The do after all know what is best for us.

Jimminy christmas! They don't get that their "New Republican Statism" has lost them much of the support of their base. They're stubbornly determined not to learn any lessons from this election and they're preparing to redouble their mistakes in time for 2008.
